Virginia CONSTANTINE et son Quartet
Fille de Jean CONSTATIN ( mon
manège à moi Edith Piaf, ma gigolette Yves Montant,…) étudia le piano avant
d’opter pour le chant et la composition, son père lui transmis la passion du
jazz.
Virginia CONSTANTINE se produit avec son
Quartet constitué de Christophe CRAVERO
ou Francis LOCKWOOD au piano, Félipé CABRERA ou Léonard RAPONI à la
contrebasse, Alexandre THOLLON à l’harmonica et son frère Francis CONSTANTIN à
la batterie et aux percussions.
Virginia CONSTANTINE rend honneur
aux grands classiques du jazz vocal, de Cole PORTER à Georges GERSHWIN et sa
couleur vocale, intimiste et sensuelle se situe dans la lignée de Sarah
VAUGHAN, DianaKRALL ou Norah JONES.
